73rd Annual Melava Malka
Dear Friend,
We are at the threshold of a milestone in celebrating seventy three years of Bais Medrash Sulitza - Kehilas Yakov in this community.
Our annual Melava Malka is the major fundraising event that enables our Kehila to continue with its myriad of Avodas Hakodesh activities.
We are pleased to present to you the roster of this year’s honorees.
We are privileged to announce Mr. Reuven & Mrs. Chava Knobel נ"י, as our Guests of Honor. Mr. & Mrs. Knobel are devoted מתפללים, with Reuven being part of our Bais Hamedrash his entire life. They are actively involved in all the functions of our בית המדרש. They are loyal to the בית המדרש, the Kehila, and the Rebbe שליט"א. With their tireless effort and unbelievable willingness and dedication Mr. & Mrs. Knobel נ"י are part of the Sulitza Bais Medrash heart and soul. We wish them many healthy and active years in their work לטובת הכלל.
We have the honor to give this year’s Shem Tov Award to our esteemed mispallel Mr. Yechiel Sochet נ"י, which is a well deserved recognition of a highly respected person who earns the respect of everyone who comes in contact with him, and is an inspiration of מדות טובות and ענוה. We wish Mr. Yechiel Sochet אריכת ימים ושנים טובים עד מאה ועשרים שנה.
Our deserving Eitz Chaim Awardees, are Rabbi Nachum Shmuel & Mrs. Yaffa Hartman נ"י, a couple that are known as being a vessel of abundant Chessed to many Mosdos Hatorah and community members, and for their strong support for כל דבר שבקדושה taking place in our community. May they merit many more healthy years of achievements.
We once again call upon our friends and members to assist in the support of our holy Mosdos by “sponsoring” or “soliciting” a Diamond, Sapphire, Chai, Crystal, שר האלף, Bronze, or Gold page ad. Your generous support will help our institutions and honor your friends as well.
