Dear Family and Friends עמו"ש,

 

       It is truly a זכות for me to be asked to be this year’s Guest of Honor at the annual Melava Malka of the Sulitza Bais Hamedrash Cong. Kehilas Yaakov. Due to the tremendous הכרת הטוב that I and my children have to this wonderful מקום תורה ותפלה, it was obvious to us that we should happily accept.

    The Rebbe שליט"א is providing us with a Beis Medrash imbued with the beauty of Yiddishkeit. The uplifting Davening, Shabbos, Yom Tov and the warm personal relationship that we all benefit from the Rebbe שליט"א and the Rebbetzin תליט"א, are just a few of the things that draw us toward the Beis Medrash.

 

     The Kehila is not only a מקום תפלה; it is a vibrant Bais Medrash, with constant shiurim, Avos Ubanim, שבת אחים, Tehilim Kollel and afternoon and night kollel, to name just a few. Sulitz is also a tremendous source of chessed for the entire Far Rockaway/Five Towns community. The Rebbe שליט"א and Rebbetzin תליט"א are involved in myriad forms of chessed in a quiet bakovedik way, helping many in our community.

 

       The annual dinner is truly the shul’s sole significant fundraising opportunity. For reasons unknown to me the Rebbe שליט"א decided that I could spearhead this campaign. My only hesitation to accept this honor was whether I could actually help towards the goals of the מלוה מלכה. Therefore, please help me make the success of this year’s Melave Malka a reality, by generously contributing to this worthwhile cause, by “sponsoring” an ad is this year’s Journal. The final date for placing your ad is Mar. 3rd ‘25.
